Rachel Viel, PT, MS, CWCE specializes in industrial rehabilitation, functional capacity evaluations (FCEs) and acute treatment of work related injuries. She is a Certified Work Capacity Evaluator (CWCE) by Roy Matheson & Associates and is also Orthopedic Rehab Specialist's lead therapist in providing local industry with WorkSTEPS® pre-employment screenings and fit-for-duty testing. Rachel received her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis in 1997.
Dan McGirk, PT has focused his treatment practices in manual therapy, hand and workers comp rehabilitation while also specializing in industrial services. This includes performing job site analyses and ergonomic assessments and offering job site recommendations to promote safety in the workplace. Additionally, he implements injury prevention stretching programs and ergonomic lifting classes for local companies. Dan graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Illinois – Chicago in 1990. Dan is also an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), as well as the Aquatic, Hand, Occupational , and Orthopedic Therapy Sections of APTA. Dan serves as the Workers Comp Coordinator for all ORS locations and ORS affiliate companies.
Rex Brown, MS, EP, CEAS has extensive experience in body mechanics training, spinal and scapular stabilization, work conditioning, functional capacity evaluations, and return to work programming. Rex is also strong in injury prevention for industry and has worked with a number of employers in the Northern Illinois area. Additionally he is certified in post-offer screening under WorkSTEPS® for the legal screening and hiring of qualified workers. Rex received his Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology from Northern Illinois University (1988).
