Hip arthroscopy is a surgical procedure performed through a small incision using a camera to guide the surgeon and small instruments inserted through other incisions.

Hip arthroscopy is much less invasive than traditional hip surgery, which means patients can get a jump on rehab much sooner, and accelerate the course of that rehab as well. This is usually an outpatient procedure, with much smaller incisions. All of this leads to a much earlier return to normal life.
